Went to the poker tournament tonight. Made it to the final two tables, finished 15th. This is the third time out of the 7 that I have gone that I have made it that far but not to the final table. The final table is where the money is!!! 1st-10th pay out. 15th doesn't. Not this time. Not the last time. Not the time I finished 14th. This out of 300 players. Dammit. It's like I'm good enough out of raw instinct to get that far but then the top guys experience takes over. So, I guess it's just a matter of taking my beatings until I get up to their level. I didn't get to talk to #1 today. That makes me sad. I'm going to write her a letter telling her how much I miss her. bye!
